This one day workshop focuses on the historical binding technique of sewing on cords, adapted here for contemporary bookmaking. Traditionally concealed within the spine, the cords in this structure are intentionally exposed, creating a visually striking spine. The text block will consist of single pages made of Nepalese paper. Participants will personalize their books by creating content using collage, rubber stamping and/or pen work. This is an advanced bookmaking workshop for individuals with bookmaking experience. All materials will be provided. $150
